A Little Bit of History

The land of Rock Hill has been actively farmed since the 1800s! The land grew a variety of crops in the past and has been an active beef farm for the past 26 years. It once was known as a "poor farm", which was an institution common in the mid 1800s - early 1900s that supported those in need.

The barn was built in May of 1946, which means it has been standing for nearly 8 decades! We used the barn to hold a wedding reception for our daughter and her husband in 2021, which led us to where we are today- welcoming others to use the space for celebration as well!
